Weekly Finish #1-#3: Scrappy Heart Mini Quilts 2021

And, here they are.  The three scrappy heart mini quilts I made for my granddaughters.  They are quilted, bound, with a label, and on their way to Georgia, Tennesse and Kentucky.  My first finished quilts for 2021!

Each one measures 26" square with four heart blocks.

I quilted each in a grid with straight stitch-in-the-ditch and I outlined each heart.

Each one has a different backing and I used batting scraps.

These mini quilts were so much fun to make.  I've made table runners but have never made small quilts.  They just go together so quickly that I'd like to make a couple for myself.

UPDATE 7/14/2021: My DGD2 in Kentucky sent me this picture of her mini heart quilt hanging on her "special" wall.  I sure do miss her!
