Weekly Finish #5-#6: Chains of Love & Simple Hearts 2021
Not one, but TWO weekly finishes! The first one is Chains of Love, a free pattern by Jedi Craft Girl. I started this quilt way back in February and posted about it here.
I used red and pink fabrics from my stash and am so happy with how it turned out.
I finished quilting it this past Monday using an overall hearts and loops design. This is a quick and easy design that I've used on all my heart quilts.
The back is a pretty pink floral design with a light lilac background, and I used an Heirloom cotton batting. The quilt is the size of a wall hanging, measuring 48" square, and has a hanging sleeve.
My second finish is another heart quilt that I also started in February and recently posted about it here.
I didn't use the traditional red hearts for this Valentine quilt and am really happy with the fabrics I used.
I quilted it with the same overall hearts and loops design and used a polyester batting. The backing is from my stash and has a pretty floral print. It's a small quilt measuring 33" x 35", a nice size for a small wall hanging or table topper.
