Weekly Finish #25: St. Patty's Irish Chain … and National Dog Day

St. Patty's Irish Chain

Finished Size: 58" x 78"

I finished the quilt top a year ago and previously posted about it here and here.

This quilt is part of my seasonal quilts collection that includes my Valentine's Chains of Lovemy Spring Pinwheel Sampler, and my Uncle Sam's Star quilt.

I thought I'd have it completed by St. Patty's day this year but that didn't happen.  Anyhow, it's now done and ready for next year!

I quilted it with an overall E2E design that is pre-installed in my Pro-Stitcher called Clovers.

The backing is a green and white geometric print, and the batting is Warm & Natural.

And because it is National Dog Day, I present Raider and Leo ...

My DD and DGD were Raider's original owners.  When they moved to Kentucky, Raider remained with us.

Leo "ran away" from his original home across the street.  When we contacted them to return him, they said they didn't want him because he didn't get along with their other dogs so we kept him.  I don't think he was treated well because his left leg was broken and never set properly.  IMHO he also suffers from PTSD and sometimes gets aggressive. He can also be very sweet and loving and is very attached to me.

Both dogs have been with us since 2015 and are between 12-14 years old. We love them dearly.

I'm happy to join these linky parties.  Be sure to visit them to see what other quilters are sharing.
Until next time ...
Be happy and keep on quilting!
