Monday Making: 2025 Quilting Goals

This is my fourth year setting quilting goals, and I'm pleased to say that this approach has worked out well.  Goal setting helps me stay on track and continue moving forward with using my stash.  Although I did not meet all my 2024 goals, I was able to finish a whopping 77 quilting projects.  Let's see how I did with my goals:

Wow!  2024 was a great, productive year.  I knew at the start of the year that my list was very ambitious and there was a slim chance of completing them all. Even so, I'm happy with what I did accomplish.  Here's a summary of results:
        • 58 completed quilts:
          • 21 tops finished in 2024
          • 30 tops finished in 2023
          • 7 squirrels in 2024
        • 19 tops finished in 2024 but not quilted
        • 13 projects postponed to 2025
        • 4 projects removed
I completed 47 tops in 2024 and, of those, 28 were quilted and 19 were placed in my "to be quilted" pile for 2025.  I also removed 4 projects and postponed 13 to be included in my 2025 goals.

I look forward to the new year and am motivated to be as productive in 2025 as I've been in the previous 4 years.  Here is my list of quilting goals for 2025, which again is a bit ambitious. Good thing this list is not engraved in stone!

This ambitious list makes it look like I'll be quilting day and night in 2025.  But some are fast-and-easy panel quilts, and I know a few will be postponed to 2026.  My priority is to finish the older projects, and hopefully, avoid adding squirrels😉.

I am excited about the new year and hope I can complete these projects.  Let's go!

Until next time ... Be happy and keep quilting!
