Weekly Finish #40: Single Wedding Ring Quilt with Scallop Border

Single Wedding Ring with Scallop Border

Finished Size: 86" x 110"

Here is the completed wedding quilt for Makenna that I posted about here.

I love these floral fabrics which are mainly by Robyn Pandolph.  I still have enough in my stash to make myself a quilt.  The Single Wedding Ring block has 3" units and finishes at 15 inches.

This was my first time making a scallop border.  I watched a couple videos and ended up purchasing a specialty ruler from Quilt In A Day.  It definitely was worth the cost.

I also had to make bias binding - another first - for which I had to order more fabric.  Luckily, it arrived on Tuesday - just in time so I can finish the quilt before the end of the year.  I quilted it with E2E Folk Art heart design and used Warm & Natural batting.

This is my 40th completed quilt project of 2022 and the last one for the year.

I'm happy to join these linky parties.  Be sure to visit them to see what other quilters are sharing.
Until next time ...
Be happy and keep on quilting!

  3. Such a beautiful quilt! I have a stash from 2003 or so of Robyn's. Great fabrics and she was the first Designer (Appliquer) that I watched on TV with Alex Anderson - 2001 timeframe - before The Quilt Show
