Weekly Finish...Or Not: Weed Whacker in Blue Quilt Top


Finally finished the Weed Whacker quilt top that I previously posted about here and here.  
 

I am glad that I decided to add the pieced border.  It would have been much easier to just add a solid border but I think taking the extra time and effort to make the pieced border was well worth it.


I probably won't get to quilting it until much later so for now it's going in the "to be quilted" pile.

Next on my project list is adding the borders to and finishing up my Rhododendron Trail quilt top, and then picking up where I left off on my Unity quilt top.  Just sew busy! :)
