Monday Making: 2023 Quilting Goals

Happy New Year!  A new year is a new opportunity for setting goals and resolutions. “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars”.

For the past two years, I have made quilting goals and I'm happy to say this has worked out great.  So great, in fact, that I completed 40 quilty projects in 2022.  Let's see how I did with my 2022 Goals ...

I also quilted the 4 tops (Uncle Sam's StarRolling Rainbow RSC 2021A Very Coriander Christmas; and St. Patty's Double Irish Chain) from my 2021 goals and 8 charity tops also finished in 2021.

There were also a few squirrels that snuck in: 3 additional finished tops and 6 quilts that were gifts (so maybe they're not really squirrels😏).  And, I completed 7 more Quilts for Kids, which were donated in June.

        1. Quilters Stand for Ukraine WH
        2. Sisterhood RBG Quilt
        3. EMS Paramedic Quilt

        8. RSC 2022 Red Cross Top
        9. RSC 2022 Catching Rainbows Top

Whew!  2022 was a busy and productive year.  Although I did not complete all 20 of my goals, I'm happy with what I did accomplish: 40 completed projects, 7 completed tops, and only 1 postponed project.

I look forward to the new year and am motivated to be as productive in 2023 as I was in 2022.  Here is my list of quilting goals for 2023, which I'm afraid is a bit ambitious. Good thing this list is not engraved in stone!
